Teachers and Advisors

We run a range of activities for schools and colleges, including school group campus visits, personal statement workshops, talks and school visits from our team of Outreach Ambassadors.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of these activities in more detail, please contact our Full-time Programme Team at ftp@libf.ac.uk or call +44 (0)20 7337 6293/4.

Campus visits are informative and engaging days for Year 12 students who have an interest in financial services and are considering higher education.

We provide students with information about studying with us, advice on careers in the financial services sector and guidance on applying to study higher education. Your group will also get the chance to meet current university students and experience a taster of life at university in the heart of London.

Some of the visit days are run specifically for each year group and in the autumn term we will extend our provision to include Year 13 students who are looking to apply for September 2017.

We are happy to arrange bespoke visits subject to capacity. Please email ftp@libf.ac.uk to discuss availability.

We can offer a range of free of charge activities for schools and colleges that can be delivered on our campus or in-school.

We are keen to work with schools and colleges situated in disadvantaged areas in order to raise the levels of aspiration and we are also keen to work with groups of female students, as women are currently underrepresented in the finance and banking industry.

Activities we can offer currently include:

  • Visits from Outreach Ambassadors (current undergraduate students) to schools and colleges
  • Autumn University
  • Personal statement workshop (on campus or in-school)
  • Mock interviews (in-school)
  • Student Finance talk (on campus or in-school)
  • 'Why Higher Education?' talk (on campus or in-school)

We are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity to all degree programmes and to giving all students, regardless of background, the best opportunities to succeed. This commitment not only applies to the successful completion of an award, but also to enabling students to succeed in their chosen professional careers.

We are always interested in hearing from organisations or employers interested in working with us on widening participation activity. Contact our Full-time Programme Team at ftp@libf.ac.uk or call +44 (0)20 7337 6293/4.
