A re-branded version was released in January 2017. 

This version was released in July 2015, ready for the 2015/16 academic year. It includes the following enhancements:

  • Results are automatically uploaded overnight to ifs University College.
  • Results remain on a centre's Administration System's 'Results' screen for reference, and be removed one week after the sit window's expiry date.

This version was released in July 2015, ready for the 2015/16 academic year. It includes the following enhancements:
  • Greater control of the appearance of sitting slips and results sheets.
  • More network connectivity tests carried out during the installation process.
  • Adding a 'Time out' page to the end of students' examinations, to manage occasions where they do not end them properly and they cannot be uploaded.

This was an update to the second release of ifs e-test™ and included the following additional enhancements:

  • The ability to 'No Show' and upload a student's attempt as soon as it is known they won't sit, rather than waiting for their sit window to expire.
  • Access to at least three specimen papers per unit.
  • Access to result analysis in my ifslearning for specimen papers taken through v2.1.
  • Greater control of the 'lock-down' facility of students' computers.
  • Further reliability and performance enhancements.

This was the second release of ifs e-test™ and included the following functionality:

  • A larger number of students being able to sit at any one time.
  • Downloading examination results as a .csv file.
  • An updated and more responsive Administration System.
  • An easier installation process with the ability to automatically 'push out' the components to computers in a network.
  • Rewritten to ensure continuing compatibility with newer versions of Internet Explorer and Windows.
  • Lower requirements for the Server.

This was the first release of ifs e-test™. It provided centres with the ability to administer and run their students' examinations in-house. Administration of ifs e-test™ was achieved via a web-based interface.
