Glynn Jones is based in the Bank's Agency for the West Midlands the principle function of which is to act as the eyes, ears and voice of the Bank of England in the regions.
For this session Glynn will be providing the latest Bank outlook for growth and inflation for the UK and the West Midlands. The session will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A.

Glynn joined the Bank as Deputy Agent for the West Midlands and Oxfordshire in March 2011. Before joining the Bank Glynn was the lead economist at the RDA Advantage West Midlands. He has spent much of his career in consultancy where his main interests were in regional economic development and regeneration. From 2002 to 2008 he ran his own consultancy company. He has a PhD from Coventry University and an MA from Akron University, Ohio.

Originally from Shropshire, Glynn currently lives in rural Warwickshire where he is a local Parish Councillor. His outside interests include cycling, walking, badminton and football.
