Visiting the <a default.asp?title="Home&pid=1''">Astley Cooper School, Mr Penning sat in on a lesson and spoke with students about many aspects of personal finance, but in particular the Lifetime ISA, launched in April’s Budget, designed to help young people get onto the property ladder. In particular Mr Penning was interested in how it has affected the decisions that students take regarding money and their savings.
The Astley Cooper School has only been running the course for a year but it has already received good feedback from its students who say that it teaches them “real life” skills and helps them to make good financial long-term decisions.
