Lessons in Financial Education (LiFE) Certificate

Lessons in Financial Education (LiFE) Certificate is for students that want to take the next step and challenge themselves.

About the qualification

Coming in September 2017 our new level 2 LiFE qualification.  Students will be able to continue the e-learning course but at a higher level and teaching resources will be provided for optional classroom delivery.

This programme introduces a deeper level of mathematics but in the context of financial maths. And it still offers the same level of independence as LiFE Foundation and Award.

This qualification is currently being developed and more information will be added to this page once released.

What progression does our LiFE Certificate offer?

Once completed students will be able to move onto our Level 3 qualification Certificate in Financial Studies (CeFS). CeFS is an AS equivalent qualification which offers maximum UCAS points.

The LiFE Certificate will also teach your students important life skills that are needed for university and the working world.

The LiFE Certificate is broken down into 3 different units. Each unit has a series of different topics that students must complete to pass.

How long does it take?

Once registered, students have 12 months to work their way through the topics and complete the programme. There are no set deadlines for each topic and the programme can be paused at any time with students restarting where they left off.
