Get career support, information and guidance from our Careers & Employability Service.

Our team can assist you with a range of services, from CV and cover letter writing, to help finding an internship or graduate position. We also host a series of online and campus events to encourage career management and support for working professionals.

We work in collaboration with leading recruiters from the financial services sector and aim to provide opportunities for recruitment across a wide range of roles – from entry level internships and graduate positions, to roles for more experienced working professionals.

Our aim is to equip you with highly marketable skills and connect you with a network of potential employers, so that you can secure a job, manage a career and achieve your career aspirations and goals.

Services for Students

Find out more about the services we provide for our students, both full and part-time, and our alumni. 

We host a wide-range of careers events for our undergraduate students throughout the year. From inspiring talks from senior figures within the banking and finance industry, to events focusing on how to improve your career prospects.

Career coaching can assist you whether you are reviewing your career goals, planning your next job search, preparing for your next promotion or just feeling in need of a 'career check-up'. We offer confidential career coaching sessions that are tailored to your needs, offering objective, independent support, to help you with your career decisions. These sessions are available face-to-face in London, or via Skype or phone.

We hold regular workshops and 1-2-1 sessions on how to create a winning CV tailored for the financial services, with full access to a professional careers advisor providing you with tailored assistance.

We appreciate the unique nature of our part-time students so we regularly host online webinars and events that cater to your needs. Find out more about our upcoming professional development events.

Via our weekly bulletin, we source and help students with internship and graduate job applications. We also manage the Advanced Worked-based Learning Module that you can take as a part of your course.

We run a range of specific careers workshops each term and encourage you to attend. They cover CV/CL preparations, personal branding and interview workshops, as well as helping you with career planning, job search strategy, using social media for career success and passing assessment centres.

Giving you the opportunity to practice your interview skills with a qualified careers advisor in a realistic environment, sessions last for 45 minutes and video feedback is provided.

We are delighted to host a range of employers on campus who provide expert advice on careers within the financial services, check out our latest scheduled events.

We host leading CEOs and Industry leaders from the financial services and related sectors. The video series will interview individuals who have a real passion for financial services, providing insight from senior leaders within the industry.
