After working in various admin roles in London for 10 years, latterly for the Internal Audit team at Merrill Lynch, Sue gained a BA in English Literature at University of Wales, College of Cardiff. After a year of working in China as an English teacher, Sue returned to Cardiff and ran the department office for three years. She then moved back to London and for another three years worked as an MSc course administrator/projects assistant at the University of London (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine). During this time she also worked part-time as a basic communication skills tutor, specialising in adult literacy.
Sue joined us (at the time, Chartered Institute of Bankers) in 1995 and worked mainly on syllabus development and assessment before moving on to accredited programmes, the work-based learning modules and the summer internships scheme.
