i. Normally a 2.1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in banking, economics or finance-related discipline from a recognised institution.
ii. Demonstration of relevant professional experience. Applicants should either be currently working in, or have experience of working in, the financial services sector.
iii. Candidates holding a degree in an unrelated discipline but relevant financial sector experience are encouraged to contact us if they do not meet (i) above.
iv. Candidates holding The London Institute of Banking & Finance BSc/ACIB, or a comparably challenging relevant undergraduate qualification, are encouraged to contact us if they do not meet (i) above.
v. Applicants for whom English is not their first language would be expected to demonstrate their competence through achieving an IELTS score of 7.0 or above with no element below 6.5 (or equivalent).
Accreditation of prior learning (APL) is available against the programme's first module, Bank Strategy and Competition, for any of our graduates who have successfully completed the Level 6 module, Strategic Management in Financial Services (SMIF). In order to be eligible for consideration, you must hold a minimum of a 2.1 (Hons) degree and have achieved 60 per cent or more in the SMIF module overall.
