Keith is the Associate Dean (Teaching) in Loughborough University's School of Business and Economics. A former manager with Midland Bank (now HSBC), Keith was Midland Group Visiting Fellow at Loughborough University from 1986 to 1989. Keith's practical banking experience covers retail banking, problem corporate lending and research project management, all of which inform his teaching. Since 1986 he has researched extensively into personal and corporate insolvency, as well as debt counselling, bank lending and student-peer assessment. He obtained a PhD in 2003 on the subject of individual insolvency, has authored a number of texts on banking and published widely in the academic and professional press.
