Information for stakeholders

About our new name

On 15 September 2016 ifs University College officially changed its name to ‘The London Institute of Banking & Finance’.

The new name is an exciting development for the organisation and its stakeholders. It is being introduced at the same time as a new vision which is ‘to be an internationally recognised organisation delivering outstanding financial education’.

The new name is a key part of a strategy put in place to support this vision. This strategy,  which also includes significant investments in faculty, learning technology and the student experience and a redeveloped professional qualifications offer, will see The London Institute of Banking & Finance cement its position as a leading provider of financial education in the UK and Internationally.

This microsite is designed to give you further information about the rationale behind the change of name in the context of our new vision and strategy, explain any implications that it has for our students and members and let you know who to contact if you have any concerns or questions.
