We are providing regular information and support to all our current and prospective students.
We are currently delivering all teaching online as advised by the government. We'll continue to review the situation and guidelines and return to face-to-face teaching when it is safe to do so with social distancing measures in place. Assessments will remain online throughout this academic year.
We are still providing online support to our students however if you need access to our facilities during this period, please contact us directly to discuss the options available. If you have any other questions or need any help, please contact the HE Programmes team.
As the situation is changing very quickly, we'll send you updates by email. So, if you're a student with us, please keep an eye out for our emails.
- We are continuing to deliver our academic programmes in line with the scheduled timetable, and you will find all course materials online.
- All workshops are currently being held online.
- All online events (workshops and webinars) continue to be recorded and available digitally.
- All progress reviews are currently being conducted remotely.
Breaks in learning
- In accordance with government advice, if apprentices cannot attend training (see 'Disruption to training'), a break in learning can be initiated.

The exam regulator, Ofqual, is working closely with schools and colleges on assessments. We will continue to monitor government guidance as things change and provide regular updates.
We are now welcoming prospective students onto campus at our one to one drop in sessions. Our staff are all tested before coming onto campus and attendees will have to wear face masks at all times on campus.

Most of our events are now taking place as webinars. Please see our events page to find out more.
Due to Covid-19 the majority of examinations have been unable to take place in schools and colleges. As such, and in line with Ofqual’s Vocational and Technical qualifications contingency regulatory framework, our Financial Education qualifications will be assessed by Teacher Assessed Grades in 2021.
For our Financial Education qualifications made up of on demand assessments, in some cases centres have been permitted to continue taking the examinations where they were able to under public health guidance. However, where centres have not been able to complete the delivery as they would in a normal year these will also be assessed through Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs).
Throughout this year we have provided centres with information on the process for supplying TAGs and how our internal quality assurance will work.
The dates for students’ results being released in 2021 are:
Level 3 (LIBF CeFS and DipFS) - 10th August 2021
Level 2 (CeFE/AiFE/CeFCCD/LiFE) - 12th August 2021
Results to centres will be released the day before for each level respectively. We have provided a timeline of all key dates.
If a centre or their students are unhappy with the grades received this summer an appeal may be submitted to us. If you wish to submit an appeal, please read the following process for appealing Teacher Assessed Grades.
All our other standard policies for Financial Education qualifications remain unchanged.
Ofqual have published a student guide on how qualifications are being awarded this year. Centres are encouraged to point students in the direction of this should they have any queries about the overall approach to awarding qualifications in 2021.
If you have any queries relating to the awarding of qualifications in 2021, please contact our support team via email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01227 828234.
