We are providing regular information and support to all our current and prospective students.
We have now returned to face-to-face teaching and are welcoming students back onto campus. This academic year we are using both our Lovat Lane campus and Peninsular House to deliver teaching. In line with government guidance, we do not have any social distancing measures currently in place, however, masks should be worn when on campus.
Following positive feedback from students, we have retained some elements of online provision, such as the introductory videos to weekly topics and online assessments, alongside the extra mental health support we’ve put in place. You can now contact the HEP team at the support desk on 8th floor of Peninsular House, by email at HEP@libf.ac.uk or by phone on 0207 337 6294/3.
- We are continuing to deliver our academic programmes in line with the scheduled timetable, and you will find all course materials online.
- All workshops are being held online.
- All online events (workshops and webinars) continue to be recorded and available digitally.
- All progress reviews are being conducted remotely.
Breaks in learning
- In accordance with government advice, if apprentices cannot attend training (see 'Disruption to training'), a break in learning can be initiated.
- If you think you need to initiate a break in learning, please speak to your employer first and then contact us by email: email@example.com
- All assessments (assignment submissions and exams) are taking place online according to the published timetable.
We are now running on campus events again, offering prospective students the chance to explore our campus and meet staff and students. Our staff are all tested before coming onto campus. We'd encourage you to take a test too before attending and follow all the safety precautions while you're here.

January exams 2022
Recent communications sent from the Department for Education (DfE) to centres state:
“There are exams for vocational and technical qualifications timetabled for January. Students who are due to sit these exams will be prepared and it is right that they should be given every opportunity to demonstrate what they have learnt. Exams and formal assessments will go ahead. Consequently, it is essential that students continue to prepare for these assessments.”
Therefore all exams, including Level 3 CeFS/DipFS, remain scheduled to take place in line with our key dates document.
We previously provided details to centres at the end of October of any adaptations for our qualifications and these are now on Brightspace. Please note that these adaptations apply to the exams sat this academic year and to the qualifications completing in summer 2022 only.
If you have any questions about the exams, or face any challenges delivering them, please contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should you encounter any issues delivering the exams and need to submit a special consideration request, please read our special consideration policy (pdf).
