ifs University College response to QAA Review

21 October, 2015

ifs University College is pleased to announce the outcome from the HE Review process undertaken by the QAA during the latter part of 2014. The review report, published on QAA’s website on 19 February, makes judgements about standards and quality in four key areas of the provision of higher education. The full report can be read <a provider?ukprn="10008289#.VOW0CDZFDmi''">here.

ifs University College would like to thank staff, faculty and students who participated in the review process and also the reviewers for their input to the successful outcome. We welcome the review report, in particular the confidence expressed by the reviewers through the four judgements.

Of the four recommendations, we will address the first three and we welcome the reviewers’ pointing to these areas to be considered. Concerning the fourth recommendation, as discussed extensively with the reviewers, we had previously identified this as an area to be addressed and started to take action; we will continue to make the required improvements.

Although we received just one area of good practice, we welcomed the extremely positive comments throughout the report on various topics, in particular those relating to the quality of our information to students.
