Photo Competition Launch - 'Why is your community special?'

16 March, 2016

Calling all students, Academics and staff: Are you fancy at photography? Superb at taking selfies? Inspirational on Instagram? Or do you just enjoy taking snaps and the thrill of a competition?

It's time to get out there and put your creative flair to the test.
Why is your community special? Don’t tell us why, show us! We would love you to take a photo in your local community to show us why it is special. It might be because of a person, a group of people, a particular place, an activity or something else unique, the possibilities are endless. Whatever it is, we want to know about it! So get out there and capture the moment.  Capture 'Why your community is special' in a photograph and send it to sustainability@ifslearning.ac.uk along with your contact details and a brief description of your photo/s, or enter via our Instagram account using the hashtag #ifsphotocomp

The competition will be judged by the winner of last year's competition, Ian Simpson. The winning entry will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.

Important note: When taking images of people you may need to get their permission.  Please make sure you have read our Guidance Notes for more information and use a Release Form if required. These can be requested by contacting sustainability@ifslearning.ac.uk
