Commenting on the release of today’s GCSE results, Alison Pask, Director for Financial Capability and Community Outreach at The London Institute of Banking & Finance, said:

“I’d like to offer the warmest congratulations to all of the students across the country receiving their GCSE results today and particularly to those who have completed one of LIBF’s personal finance qualifications. In an uncertain and changing financial world, it’s more important than ever that young people leave school with the skills they need to handle their money independently and effectively. Whether students are planning on pursuing further study or entering the world of work, they’re likely to shortly be managing their money themselves for the first time. Having the skills and confidence to handle their finances at this point can set them on the right path for the rest of their lives.”
