The London Institute of Banking & Finance has launched its new Masters course in Banking and Finance.
The course, aimed at aspiring senior managers in the financial services sector, has been designed in collaboration with key industry players and aims to provide in-depth coverage of topics essential for a successful leadership career in today's fast-moving and competitive global banking and finance arena. This year’s cohort includes students from Kenya, Bangladesh, El Salvador and the UK, with work experience ranging from 3 to 29 years.
The course is divided into three distinct stages and is delivered fully online, offering students flexibility over when and where they study. Options within modules also allow students to tailor the course to their areas of interest within the industry. The programme is designed to help students develop the analytical tools to evaluate contemporary industry issues and demonstrate key strategic management skills to use immediately in their work.
Modules studies in the course include: Financial markets, institutions and investments, Bank risk management and regulation, Corporate Finance, Economics, Leadership in Financial Services, Commercial and corporate banking, Risk management as well as a 10,000 word dissertation.
The cohort includes students from Kenya, Bangladesh, El Salvador and the UK, with work experience ranging from 3 to 29 years.
Assessments range from reports, projects, case studies, essays, blogs, online discussion, closed-book examinations and research proposals. The assessments are designed to be as authentic as possible to the kind of tasks that students may be expected to undertake in your workplace.
