The London Institute of Banking & Finance has today launched a Certificate in Sustainable Finance. The launch coincides with the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum – sponsored by Abu Dhabi Global Market – which is taking place as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (12 to 16 January 2020).
Sustainability within banking and finance requires a critical rethinking of almost every aspect of leadership, operations and management.
Offered through ADGM Academy’s School of Sustainable Finance, the new qualification will support the global financial services industry in meeting this challenge.
This course will examine banking and finance from the ground up, reviewing industry assumptions around many issues including:
- policy
- markets
- forecasting
- risk
- credit
- investment.
The Certificate will equip participants to better understand the sustainability challenge in the financial sector. Delegates will explore current thinking on taxonomy and regulation and learn to develop practical strategies that can be implemented within their own organisations.
The learning blends academic theory and real-life case studies, and will be delivered by both academics and practitioners.
