- the persistence of unconscious bias and what to do about it
- work-life balance: is Covid-induced flexibility a step forward, or not?
- why we still don’t know enough about ethnic diversity in the workplace.
Speakers:
Cory Knight, an LIBF graduate and advocate for supporting the younger generations in personal and career development. Predominantly involved in internal audit, Cory has worked for a multinational bank, one of the UK’s leading asset managers and, currently, the London Stock Exchange Group.
Ellen Carr, co-author, with Katrina Dudley, of “Undiversified: the big gender short in investment management” (Columbia University Press). Ellen is Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Barksdale Investment Management and Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School. Her early career was spent as a PM at Capital Group.
Mark Hoban, chair of the Financial Services Skills Commission. Mark also chairs Flood Re, Pay UK and the Jersey Financial Services Commission. During his time as Conservative MP for Fareham (2001-15), his roles included Minister for Employment and Financial Secretary to the Treasury.
