Terms & conditions

All bookings for the Annual Trade Finance Compliance Conference are made with The London Institute of Banking & Finance and entered into subject to these terms and conditions. By making a booking you agree, on behalf of yourself, your organisation and attendees from your organisation, to be bound by these terms and conditions. In these terms and conditions, the expressions ‘you’, ‘your’ and ‘attendee(s)’ means the party booking a place(s) at the event. 

Cancellation of an event 

The London Institute of Banking & Finance reserves the right to alter the contents, timings, presenters, and the venue at which the event is to be held and to cancel the Annual Trade Finance Compliance Conference event at its sole discretion.

In the event of a cancellation by The London Institute of Banking & Finance, other than a failure by you to pay the invoice in accordance with these terms and conditions, a full refund of the booking fee will be made with no further liability on the part of The London Institute of Banking & Finance.

In the event of cancellation by The London Institute of Banking & Finance we will endeavour to contact all attendees to Annual Trade Finance Compliance Conference wherever possible, through the contact details given by the attendee.

Incidental expenses

The London Institute of Banking & Finance is not responsible for reimbursing travel, accommodation or any other costs or expenses incurred by delegate(s) to the Annual Trade Finance Compliance Conference.

Cancellation by you

In the event of any cancellations for the Annual Trade Finance Compliance Conference by you this must be received in writing by The London Institute of Banking & Finance.

A full refund will be made for cancellations received up to 14 days before the event. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received less than 14 days before the event.

However, you are permitted to substitute a delegate at any time up to 24 hours before an event is due to commence. Please register your replacement delegate with the Events team by phoning  +44 (0)20 7337 6286  or by emailing events@libf.ac.uk.

Any such refunds will be processed after the event.

Payment

If payment is required for you or your guests' attendance, you will be required to make the payment online before the booking is complete.

Tickets for events are made available on a first come, first served basis and you will not be registered to attend an event until confirmation has been received from The London Institute of Banking & Finance. Your place is not confirmed until full payment has been received by The London Institute of Banking & Finance.

Photographs and/or video footage may be taken at any The London Institute of Banking & Finance event and your image may be used on websites, publications, promotional material and publicity in the future. No references will be made that link your image with any other personal data, unless specifically agreed. If you are concerned about your image being captured via video or photograph, please contact the events team on +44 (0)20 7337 6286 or speak to them in person when you arrive at the event.

The London Institute of Banking & Finance will process your data in accordance with the principles of the UK Data Protection Act (1998). Your contact details may be used by us, to send you information on events, products, services, and special offers that may be relevant to you, unless you have opted out of receiving promotional emails by The London Institute of Banking & Finance.
