Graduation and presentation ceremony

Get ready to graduate! Students on our graduate and postgraduate degree programmes – along with those achieving some of our professional qualifications – will be presented with their awards at the Guildhall on Friday, 13 September 2019.

When you have successfully completed your studies, we will invite you to graduate at London’s Guildhall on Gresham Street, which has been at the centre of life in the City for 800 years.

This page gives details of:

  • the graduation and presentation ceremony
  • how to arrange tickets for you and your guests, and

The Guildhall

The ceremony takes place on Friday 13 September 2019 at London's Guildhall, Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7HH.

The Guildhall has been the City’s powerhouse since the twelfth century when the Lord Mayor of London rivalled the monarch. Your graduation ceremony will take place in the Great Hall – a vast medieval hall with a high-arched ceiling that is flooded with light from two huge, stained glass windows.

As well as being a historic landmark, the Guildhall offers all the modern facilities we require to make sure your graduation is a happy day, including baby changing and cloakroom facilities.

The graduation and presentation ceremony will take place from 10.15am (arrival and registration) and be followed by a drinks reception and traditional afternoon tea.
