About the ceremony

On Friday 20 October 2023, we will be celebrating the academic achievements of students from our degree programmes and professional qualifications. The ceremony will take place at London's Guildhall on Gresham Street, EC2V 7HH.

The Guildhall has been the City’s powerhouse since the twelfth century when the Lord Mayor of London rivalled the monarch. Your graduation ceremony will take place in the Great Hall – a vast medieval hall with a high-arched ceiling that is flooded with light from two huge, stained glass windows.

The day will start from 10am with arrival, registration and refreshments. The ceremony will start at 12pm and will be followed by an afternoon tea.

At this year’s ceremony, we will confer an honorary master's degree on Sarah Breeden, Executive Director for Financial Stability Strategy and Risk of the Bank of England and Joanna Elson, Chief Executive Officer of Independent Age. We will also award a Fellowship to Dr Ahmed Al Shaikh, CEO of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance.

Tickets are now available for purchase. The prices are a graduand ticket is free, an adult ticket is £40, a child (6 to 12 years old) ticket is £20, and a lap seat (0-5 years old) ticket is free.
