About WCBI

The World Conference of Banking Institutes (WCBI) is a global forum that brings together a large number of central bankers, commercial bankers, finance professionals, academics, learning and development consultants, global banking and finance education providers.

The event also provides a platform for networking and business opportunities. The conference is an avenue to brainstorm on how to get ahead of the challenges associated with the future of banking.

The WCBI is a biennial event, which was last hosted in London in 1979. We were pleased to bring it back to London in 2019. We presented the 23rd WCBI on 16-17 September 2019 at the Guildhall, London. The theme was Growth and Sustainability in an Age of Disruption.

We presented the 23rd WCBI  in partnership with City & Financial Global, City of London, Department for International Trade and GBEStB.
