Keep up to date with the latest insights and developments in banking and finance
Financial services are undergoing rapid, and potentially dramatic, change. What will happen in payments, in sustainable finance and in fintech? How can the industry boost financial inclusion and ensure that its workforce has the skills it needs to meet regulatory requirements and to compete with new entrants? Can trade finance rise to the challenge of underpinning global trade for all and help the developing world avoid "financial abandonment"? What do financial services need to do to protect our digital identities? Our Dean and Henry Grunfeld Professor of Banking, Peter Hahn, will talk about some of these issues and how they're covered in our book, 'Banking on Change: The Development and Future of Financial Services', which was commissioned to mark our 140th anniversary. At this event, you'll also get the opportunity to meet some of the experts and influencers from across the industry who contributed their insights for different chapters. You can buy your own copy of the book (in hardback) - at a discounted price for members. And you might even be able to get your copy signed by different contributors! This is the official launch event for our book 'Banking on Change: The Development and Future of Financial Services'. All proceeds from the book are going to our 140th fundraising appeal.
