Webinar

Me, myself and SMCR

< return to all events

Speaker(s):
Julie Pardy, Director of Regulation and Market Engagement, Worksmart
Nic Dent, Propositions & Customer Engagement, Worksmart

Never has there been a more turbulent backdrop to changing regulation in financial services. With the second stage of the implementation of SMCR timed for 2020 firms and individuals had a busy year of activity planned around certification, conduct rules training and directory data.

In this one hour webinar featuring Julie Pardy, Director of Regulation & Marketing Engagement and Nic Dent, Proposition Development & Customer Engagement from Worksmart, will be discussing the personal implications for those in financial services from the implementation of SMCR and considering the recent announcements around delays and regulatory concessions on SMCR related timeframes.

Taking a deep dive into personal responsibilities, the Worksmart team will consider this in the context of CPD/SPS and the implications for those that manage the CPD of others.

They will be providing practical hints and tips, from lessons learned from the banking arena on SMCR and aiming to leave listeners with a 'to do' list supported by some helpful reference material.
