With an increasing tax burden and the freezing of individual tax allowances and thresholds, the need for professional financial advice and tax efficient planning has become more important. The emphasis provided by the new consumer duty on demonstrating suitable client outcomes give this greater importance going forward.
Our speaker is Colin Bramhall from Octopus Investments and our host is Richard Cooper, our Business Development Manager. In this webinar, they will look in detail at Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS) and Venture Capital Trusts (VCT).
The webinar will cover:
- key technical aspects of both EIS & VCT
- where they fit into the planning landscape
- key considerations that need to be taken into account.
We will also look at the planning opportunities for financial professionals to consider when thinking about efficient tax planning opportunities for building relevant investment portfolios beyond Pensions and ISA's, that may be suitable to meet client objectives.
At the end of this webinar, attendees will:
- gain an understanding of the technical aspects of EIS & VCT
- recognise the potential for their consideration and inclusion within client portfolios
- identify the risks and potential limitations that need to be taken into account.
