Who will be speaking?
Emmanuel Rondeau, Faculty Member, The London Institute of Banking & Finance MENA
Emmanuel is the Lead Director (NED) at La Banque Postalein France, where he chairs the Board Risk Committee and the Nomination Committee. La Banque Postale was the first European bank and one of the first financial institutions worldwide to have its decarbonisation pathway recognised by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). It has won many other accolades, including from Vigeo Eiris Sustainalytics and an A rating from the CDP.
Emmanuel has been active in banking for 35 years in Paris and London, with senior executive and non-executive roles in several leading banks, such as:
- Crédit Agricole Group, France
- ING Bank, the Netherlands
- Royal Bank of Scotland -NatWest Group, UK
An EDHEC Financial Economics Advisory Board member, Emmanuel is a regular trainer and keynote speaker for bank boards - most recently in Bahrain, Geneva, Tunis, Vienna, and Washington -specialising in ethics, risk and governance.
