Organisations are under increased pressure to retain talent and close skill gaps with tight learning and development budgets. Fortunately, there is a way that organisations can overcome this challenge, but it is often over-looked or deemed as an unconventional way to achieve qualifications and new skill sets. The route of apprenticeships, time and again, are pushed aside.

Level 6 graduate programmes such as a Financial Service Professional apprenticeship, can be funded through levy without touching L&D budgets and have been used successfully to underpin graduate schemes. Although this route is beneficial to both apprentices and organisations, the stigma sometimes attached to the 'A'-word can result in this route being ignored.

During this webinar session, Carolyn Blunt, Director at Davies Learning Solutions, Karen Taylor, Head of Apprenticeships, LIBF and Rob Thompson, Head of Banking Services, LIBF discussed what organisations need to know about apprenticeships.
