Phil was an international banker (London, New York and Sydney) before working as a Treasurer, Corporate Financier and Finance Director in the IT outsourcing sector. He was appointed as Head of Organisational Effectiveness in a large complex consortium in 2007, leaving to start his own business in 2009. Two years later, Phil established Circulus Ltd, a specialist coaching business. Phil holds a BSc (Hons) in Banking and Finance, the ACIB, MCT Advanced Diploma (Corporate Treasury), is an ICF accredited coach and occasionally works as a Visiting Lecturer in Finance and Leadership at Cass Business School, BPP and the University of Hertfordshire.
Phil is currently a PhD student at Cranfield School of Management and is a Research Fellow of The London Institute of Banking & Finance / Henry Grunfeld researching the impact of Secondment National Experts (SNEs) on regulatory effectiveness in European financial services.
Phil leads the Leadership in Financial Services module and lectures on both the part-time and full-time delivery.
