If you have recently entered the banking and finance sector – or have had to take on more risk responsibilities in your role – you need a solid understanding of:

  • operational and financial risks
  • regulation and governance
  • the increasing supervisory focus on conduct and organisational culture.

RRB will give you a fundamental knowledge of the critical risks that banks face in the current climate – and the regulations implemented to ensure the stability of the banking sector.

Your studies will cover

  • The concept and principles of risk
  • The key principles of risk measurement

You can take your exam at a test centre or at home with remote invigilation

Once you’ve passed you’ll receive a digital certificate. A paper copy can also be ordered for an additional fee.

You just need to complete one unit

Unit 1 – Risk and Regulation in Banking (RRB)

  • Definitions and concepts of risk
  • Principles of risk measurement
  • The causes and consequences of the global financial crisis
  • Stakeholder management
  • Bank regulation and risk management
  • Contemporary developments in regulation and risk oversight
  • Credit, market, financial and operational risk.

Assessment

RRB is assessed by a 90-minute multiple-choice exam.

You can choose when to take your exam and pick from test centres nationwide or through remote invigilation.

You will have 12 months from your course start date to complete each module and sit the exam. Your first exam is included in the registration fee.
