Level 5 Professionalism, Conduct and Ethics (5PCE)

The Level 5 Professionalism, Conduct and Ethics (5PCE) qualification has been designed to provide a recognised qualification for financial services employees to demonstrate professionalism and understand how ethical issues affect decision-making and compliance with FCA rules and regulation.

This qualification is now closed for new students to register online. About the qualification

Level 5 Professionalism, Conduct and Ethics highlights the importance of ethical thinking, theory and practice within the financial services industry. Focusing on the individual, it considers personal professionalism and the application of conduct rules within a working environment.

In order to highlight the importance of these topics in today’s banking and financial services, 5PCE  is a mandatory qualification within The London Institute of Banking & Finance’s Professional Qualifications Framework.

The Level 5 Professionalism, Conduct and Ethics qualification is registered with Ofqual in the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Unit 1 - Professionalism, Conduct, Ethics and the Individual (PCEI)

The unit explores personal professionalism, professional identity and accountability in the finance sector. It covers the significance of ethics and ethical decision-making and highlights how professionalism can drive behaviours.

Studying and Study sessions

Study texts are included in your registration fee. Online study texts will be made available immediately after payment. The study text contains review questions and activities to support your learning.

Assessment

5PCE is assessed by coursework submitted electronically through the course site.
