About the Economic Crime Academy

The City of London Police Economic Crime Academy offer a comprehensive range of learning programmes, designed to provide delegates with the knowledge, skills and understanding to combat fraud and economic crime. The courses make a significant impact when delegates return to the workplace, improving both confidence and performance. They are delivered via trainer led sessions designed to accelerate learning through interaction, case studies and recognition of multiple learning styles. Assessment is carried out on an ongoing basis to assist delegates in measuring and improving their level of competency.

Courses

Courses consist of classroom-based learning and workplace based projects to support the transition of learning into practical skills. The delegate groups are small to maintain high trainer/delegate ratios and maximise the opportunities to tailor learning objectives to the individual requirements and expectations of delegates.

Fraud Internet Investigator Courses

Each course is focused on the structure and function of the cyber environment and how to navigate it during investigations. The legislative or procedural framework applicable to those undertaking such investigations is subject to both the jurisdiction and organisation policies relevant to each delegate.
