Throughout your studies, you’ll have opportunities to express your opinions regarding the planning, implementation and evaluation of the learning, teaching and assessment strategy, as well as the overall student experience.

By participating in any of our feedback activities such as Module Level Surveys, focus groups or the National Student Survey, you are contributing to the continued enhancement of our policies, procedures and curriculum design.

We make changes as a result of your feedback and maintain a constant dialogue with your student representatives so that we are constantly responding to your issues or ideas.

Represent your fellow students

Become a Student Representative and have your voice heard!

You will be your classmate’s point of contact, listening to their views, concerns and academic matters. This role offers a great chance for you to develop your leadership and communication skills, something future employers will be interested in.

You'll attend meetings where you have the opportunity to discuss with relevant staff any issues from the students you represent. These meetings allow us to receive feedback on new proposals and important developments to the student body.

National Student Survey

When applying to university it’s important to find out what it’s really like to study there and to hear honest feedback from current students. This short survey, taken in your final year, helps us to better understand your student experience and your views can help to inform change for current and future students.

This anonymous survey is provided by Ipsos MORI, as part of HEFCE’s annual survey campaign, and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

The Graduate Outcomes survey

The Graduate Outcomes survey is a national survey capturing information about the perspectives of graduates 15 months after they finish their studies. When you complete your degree programme you will be asked to take part in the survey.
