Why do you want to study ‘finance’/’banking’?
Due to the fast paced nature of the industry it always appealed as a choice I couldn't get bored with, especially with the amount of roles available within a bank. There are clear progression ladders which give you an end goal and the motivation needed to get there.
What have you enjoyed most about the course to date?
The prestige lectures, these give the opportunity for an invaluable insight from industry professionals. It's an environment I enjoy being in.
What do you think London can offer you as a place for study?
It has many resources within a stone’s throw from each other, from libraries to student bars to gyms which aren't as expensive as you may think. This makes travelling relatively stress free and helps you focus on what you're at university for - studying.
How will your studies help you in achieving your goals?
I believe my studies will help me get my foot in the door with an investment bank to begin my career. This is due to the networking opportunities The London Institute of Banking & Finance provides, the contacts they have and the fact all my lecturers have industry experience.
