International students
The UK is one of the most popular study destinations for international students. By studying in London you won't just gain a degree, you'll be speaking English every day which will help you improve your English language skills too.
We offer two degree courses, which are bachelors with honours (BSc Hons) and available to our international students:
Studying in the UK
London is fast-moving, diverse and exciting and only a few hours away from the European continent.
Most importantly – if you’re looking to build a career in finance – the City of London
is a global financial centre and, at LIBF, you'll be at its heart.
“In London you do different things every day. You can have new experiences and travel. Amazing! But the most important thing for an international student coming to London is to ask questions.
“If you have a problem, talk with someone. The LIBF staff are always ready to help you. And the lecturers are very good, even if English is not your first language.” Antonio Zedda - Graduate testimonial
Accommodation
We can help you find student accommodation anywhere in London, through our partnerships with specialist providers.
That means you’re not limited to one specific area when you’re thinking about where you’d like to live.
If you’d like to live in the same accommodation as another LIBF student – and you’re happy for us to share your contact details – we can put you in touch with other new students. Often it’s useful to talk to someone who’s been through the accommodation process before. So, we can pair you up with a student buddy who can share tips and advice.
Fees and funding
The tuition fee for an international student studying with LIBF is £13,000 a year. If you’re an EU fee-paying student, you may be eligible for loans or grants from your own government.
A number of first year scholarships are also available to international students, funded by donations from our alumni. You’ll find more information about that on our Fees and funding and diversity page.
How to apply
We accept international qualifications that are equivalent to A-levels. If the secondary or high school qualifications in your country don't meet our entry requirements, you should consider taking a foundation programme with our preferred provider, INTO London.
You can find a full list of entry requirements on our course pages for BSc (Hons) Banking and Finance and BSc (Hons) Finance, Investment and Risk.
You'll need to check the UK government website to find the right visa information for you. EU students with settled or pre-settled status don't require a visa to study in the UK.
If you have any questions about joining as an international student, please contact our HE Support Team. Our office is open from 9am to 5.30pm, London time.
