What is REACH?

Through REACH we support the progression of under-represented groups in the banking and finance industries. We invite you to join the conversation, listen to REACH champions working in the industry, hear their stories and how we can encourage change and diversity together.

Our upcoming REACH event is on 27 June, focusing on diversity in banking and finance. This will be held at our London campus, and is aimed at encouraging female applicants and those from under-represented ethnic backgrounds.

What our students say

"I took a year out from working to go travelling, but now it’s time to get back into the working world. I actually graduated in Biochemistry but now I’m considering a career in banking and finance. I initially enrolled in the Diploma in Financial Advice at The London Institute of Banking & Finance, but I’m debating whether that is the correct step. So, I came to REACH to see what other pathways are available to me."

- Thurkka, REACH: Mature learners

"My favourite part was the industry panel - all of the speakers were so inspiring! Hearing from them made me feel confident about my choice to study banking because we actually found out what it's like to work and grow in the sector."

- Ayesha, REACH: Supporting ethnic diversity

"I always thought of bankers, especially senior ones, as older men! But, seeing so many women that are enjoying successful careers in the industry makes me more determined to study towards my own future in financial services."

- Katie, REACH: Empowering women
