Simon is a Vice Chairman in EMEA and Global Head of Financial Services in FTI Consulting's Strategic Communications Segment. He helps develop client relationships across the region and support the firm’s strategic initiatives. Simon works closely with senior leaders throughout the firm to maximise business success – ensuring best-in-class client service, co-ordinating cross-border business development opportunities and enabling further investments in talent.

His career has spanned both the private and public sectors. As the founding CEO of the trade group the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), he saw the organisation become a powerful voice for banks operating in Europe’s wholesale financial markets – serving as a bridge between its members and policymakers in the UK and the EU27. AFME has led on critical issues such as Capital Markets Union, Banking Union, the implementation of MiFID II and Brexit.
