LIBF Community Award

Giving our members the opportunity to make a difference in student lives.

We have launched the Community Award to mark our 140th Anniversary.

It will enable our members to play a part in giving opportunities to talented students who are interested in a career in banking and financial services.
Students will be awarded £500 if they secure a place on one of our undergraduate or postgraduate degrees and are a family, friend or colleague of an existing member.

As a thank you, members who introduce a successful applicant will also receive a year's free membership.

Terms and Conditions

Eligible applicant (also known as prospective student) is a new applicant to The London Institute of Banking & Finance and has not received any other scholarship or award from us.

Eligible member the applicant must provide the unique membership number of the person who has referred them to this award.

The following conditions must be met:

  1. The applicant must meet our entry requirements for the programme they are applying for. Please note this offer is currently not available for our professional qualifications.
  2. The programmes that are eligible in this scheme are:
    • BSc (Hons) in Banking and Finance
    • BSc (Hons) In Finance, Investment and Risk
    • Full-time MSc in Banking and Finance
    • Part-time MSc in Banking and Finance
  3. Applicants must be fully enrolled onto our programme before teaching commences in the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. 
  4. The applicant will need to complete the online form below after they have applied for a place on the course. This is where they can quote the membership number.
  5. Applicants can only quote one membership number.
  6. The eligible applicant must not be misled or unduly pressurised into applying and enrolling on a programme. 
  7. Payments may be subject to tax.
  8. We may refuse any application or enrolment in accordance with our regulations.
