City of London visit

School visits and City of London tours

Bring your students into the heart of London for an interactive day where they can find out about the benefits of studying banking & finance with us.

We also offer a professional guided walking tour around the City of London, an experience that has been developed to enrich your students’ learning and give them a taste of what it's like to work in London's vibrant financial district.

Our school visits are free of charge. However there is a cost of £100 for the optional City of London tour. For £100, the tour guide can take a maximum of 25 people which must include at least 1 teacher. If you have more students attending the tour it will cost an additional £100.

We have limited funding available to support students with their travel costs to attend our on-campus events. To qualify for this, students must meet at least one of the criteria below:

  • Be living in a POLAR4 area  of quintile 1 or 2
  • Are in, or have been in, the care of the local authority
  • Receives free school meals
If you have students attending the trip who are eligible for this support, please do get in touch with us. The funding is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Register for your school visit

Please only complete the form below once you have the visit fully approved by your institution. Upon completion of the form, a member of our recruitment and admissions team will be in contact to confirm availability. School visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Our visits are currently being held on a Tuesday, please include a few dates that you would prefer.

Please make sure that if you select the earlier arrival time, you make the necessary travel arrangements to arrive on time. If you are going to be late, you must notify us as soon as possible. Any school that is more than 15 minutes late may be subject to the walking tour being cancelled with no refund. Any school that is more than 30 minutes late may be subject to a revised shorter visit schedule.

We do our best to accommodate school visits so if you would like to book a visit on a date which is not mentioned above, please email our outreach team at outreach@libf.ac.uk for any queries.
