Graduation and Presentation Ceremony 2024

Students eligible to attend the Graduation and Presentation Ceremony will receive an invitation through letter and email. The ceremony is for our degree programme graduands, as well as professional qualifications students who have completed the following qualifications: Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice, Advanced Diploma in Banking & Finance, Professional Diploma in Banking & Finance, as well as CDCS Advocates. 

You may not attend the ceremony if you have not completed the required qualifications or have outstanding fees. 

Yes, students can defer their graduation up to two years. If you would like to do so, please email graduation@libf.ac.uk. 

We normally issue award certificates and transcripts within 30 days, once the award has been approved by the Programme Assessment Board. Please see our certification policy for more information.   

Accept by booking your ticket(s) for you and your guests by Friday 4 October 2024.  

Decline your invitation by emailing  graduation@libf.ac.uk . 

You will receive an invitation with a form to register. 

The last date for registration is 4 October 2024. 

No, attendance isn't compulsory.  

Gowning and photography services are provided by  Ede & Ravenscroft. 

Staff will be on hand on the day to direct you to where you can collect and return your gown. Gowns can be collected on arrival and need to be returned by 3pm.

Instructions on how to measure yourself for your gown can be found on Ede & Ravenscroft.  

Graduands should wear formal attire under their academic gowns. This typically includes a dark suit or dress, and appropriate footwear.

The Graduation and Presentation Ceremony will take place at Guildhall, in the heart of the City of London.

Guests are encouraged to dress formally or in smart attire appropriate for the occasion. 

You can purchase guest tickets while purchasing your gown and photography services. 

Yes, children can attend. 

• Graduand tickets are free 

• Adult: £40 

• Children up to 18: £20 

• Lap seat (children up to 5 years old): free 

• 10AM: Arrival and registration 

• 11.15 AM: Seating 

• 12PM: Graduation and Presentation Ceremony in the Great Hall 

• 2PM: Afternoon tea in the Old Library 

• 3PM: Gowns to be returned and day concludes
