Simon has three decades of banking experience at Barclays, Tokai and UFJ banks working in international markets including syndicated loans, risk management, and heading European leverage finance & corporate banking teams at UFJ bank. He also led training activities at the Loan Market Association.

  • Senior Manager, credit analysis over lending operations in Central and Eastern Europe
  • led restructuring on stressed and distressed credits, including acting on workout committees
  • developed structure and initiated secondary debt trading of corporate paper at the inception of this market
  • credit analysis over UK project, property and management buyout (MBO) financing
  • UK investment grade corporate credit analysis
