  • have three years' or more professional experience
  • follow the Code of Ethics

Digital badge

Chartered status comes with an eye-catching digital badge, which you can use on your website and in other digital communications. Existing and prospective clients can click on this to see the skills, knowledge and ethos that your chartered status demonstrates.

Why choose chartered status?

Chartered status is a mark of professional excellence. It will raise your professional profile and help you advance in your career, as well as give confidence to your clients that you can provide expert service.

If you are awarded chartered status, you will be a Chartered Associate of The London Foundation for Banking & Finance as well as being a member of LIBF – so you will be associated with both organisations and have access to LIBF membership benefits.

Because we are in the City of London, we are not only in the heart of the UK’s financial sector but also at the centre of one of the world’s leading international financial districts.

This means we can help you make valuable contacts at our many professional networking events.

We will actively help you keep your industry knowledge and skills up to date through our continuing professional development (CPD) scheme.

You can also benefit from careers advice, mentoring, access to our award-winning e-library and a subscription to Financial World magazine. Your chartered credentials will be publicly searchable in our CPD Register – boosting your profile.
