Meet the team
Nadim Choudhury, Head of Careers and Employability and Lecturer
Nadim is a fully accredited and qualified career coach and academic with over 18 years' experience in the UK higher education sector.
He has trained in person-centred, psychodynamic and solutions-focused coaching techniques and holds a MSc in Career Management and Coaching from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Nadim helps individuals develop their career, find meaning in their professional identity and achieve career success. He has coached over 1,000 undergraduates, postgraduates, professionals and executives at some of the world’s leading business schools including:
- The London Business School
- Hult Business School
- Grenoble Graduate School of Business, and
- Global University Systems.
His sector expertise includes financial services, consulting, marketing and international business.
Carly Stone, Careers and Employability Adviser
Following a BA from Loughborough University, Carly joined the Royal Mail Graduate programme where she worked for 18 years across a variety of operational and project management roles. Here she built relationships with many customers in the banking and finance sector, and was responsible for prestigious customers, such as Buckingham Palace and Downing Street.
Carly moved into the education sector with a role in welfare. Here she discovered a passion for supporting young adults with advice and guidance to enable them to transition successfully to the adult world.
This led her to study for a PGDiploma in Careers Education and Coaching where she has developed a love for employability education on both a group and 1-2-1 basis.
Carly has also worked for King’s College and is a trained youth mental health first aider.
Lauren Trundle, Careers and Employability Adviser
After finishing her degree at University of Leeds in Sociology and Psychology, Lauren started a career in the education sector.
She has worked in many different positions in higher education including student support, assessment and student welfare.
After nearly ten years supporting students, Lauren became interested in supporting their career progression. She started training as a careers and employability adviser, doing courses in careers guidance coaching. Her main interest is one-to-one careers coaching and helping students realise their potential.
