2024/25 subscription
There’s no charge for CMA if you’re already a Member of LIBF (MLIBF). If you’re not a MLIBF, you’ll need to apply for membership, which costs £95 a year.

Associate status is aimed at mid-career professionals who have undertaken higher level professional development. Associates are able to access the full range of benefits and services and are eligible to progress to chartered status through further study. Associate status also comes with an eye-catching digital badge, which you can use on your website and in other digital communications.
Eligibility
Individuals can apply for Associate membership status if they have industry experience and hold the Level 5 Professional Diploma in Banking & Finance (PDipB&F), Associateship (ACIB), Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Banking & Finance (AdvDipB&F), Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice, or other relevant professional qualification awarded by another provider which is recognised by LIBF.
Graduates who successfully complete our full-time BSc (Hons) Banking & Finance and our BSc (Hons) Finance, Investment & Risk will be awarded Associate status upon graduation.

Awarded by The London Foundation for Banking & Finance, and administered by LIBF.
Chartered status will raise your professional profile and help you advance in your career. You'll be awarded an eye-catching digital badge, which you can use on your website and in other digital communications.
Eligibility
You may already be on the path to chartered status if you are studying – or have studied – a professional or higher education qualification with us.
To become fully chartered you will need to:
complete one of the recommended routes to chartered status
commit to continuing professional development (CPD) on an annual basis
The subscription year for chartered status runs from 1 January to 31 December.
The fee for joining between January and June is £175. July to December applicants pay half the fee at £87.50
If you have already paid for a membership with us for a similar period we will deduct your existing subscriptions from the chartered fee.

Fellow of LIBF (FLIBF)
Fellowship recognises senior status within the industry and a commitment to the goals and vision of LIBF.
Fellows have total access to all benefits and services and are also able to participate in exclusive events. This status also comes with an eye-catching digital badge, which you can use on your website and in other digital communications.
Eligibility
Fellows are required to meet the criteria for Associate status, plus have 20 years of relevant banking and finance experience - of which at least five must be at a senior level.
As part of the application process you are required to provide evidence of your contribution to the goals of LIBF.

We are happy to reinstate your membership at your previously held level, or nearest equivalent. To reinstate your membership please download the reinstatement form for the membership category you held.
