HESA (the Higher Education Statistics Agency) is the official body responsible for collecting and disseminating information about higher education in the UK. Since 2014/15 HESA has collected information from alternative HE providers such as the London Institute of Banking & Finance. Various pieces of legislation include obligations on HE providers to deliver information to government departments, funding and regulatory bodies, and other public authorities. You may be asked to provide information about your experiences as a student in the National Student Survey or the Graduate Outcomes survey. Former students may have taken part in the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey. Full details of the data that we pass to HESA and the ways it is used is available in the collection notices on the HESA website.

Transparency information: the number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, or a particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us.

In 2019, the UK Standing Committee for Quality Assessment (UKSCQA) published a Statement of Intent proposing that Higher Education providers should publish a degree outcomes statement analysing their institutional degree classification profile and articulating the results of an internal institutional review.

This ‘Degree Outcome Statement’ provides clear assurance to students, stakeholders and the wider public on how the London Institute of Banking & Finance ensures the value of the qualifications it awards is protected.

The London Institute of Banking & Finance’s Degree Outcome Statement is updated and signed-off by the Board of Governors annually.
