HESA (the Higher Education Statistics Agency) is the official body responsible for collecting and disseminating information about higher education in the UK. Since 2014/15 HESA has collected information from alternative HE providers such as the London Institute of Banking & Finance. Various pieces of legislation include obligations on HE providers to deliver information to government departments, funding and regulatory bodies, and other public authorities. You may be asked to provide information about your experiences as a student in the National Student Survey or the Graduate Outcomes survey. Former students may have taken part in the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey. Full details of the data that we pass to HESA and the ways it is used is available in the collection notices on the HESA website.

In England, sector-representative bodies agreed that, from 2019-20, providers should publish on their websites an evaluative degree outcomes statement.

This statement provides clearer assurance to students, stakeholders and the wider public on how they ensure the value of the qualifications they award is protected. The London Institute of Banking & Finance have therefore produced their own statement which is shown below.

This was approved by the Board of Governors on 8th July 2021 and will be reviewed annually.

Read our Degree Outcomes Statement.

The following documents are specific to apprentices and their employers. Where there is no specific policy in place for apprentices, General or HE policies apply unless otherwise detailed in your Apprenticeship and/or Programme Handbook.
